The Odisha Pisciculture Development Corporation Ltd (OPDC) was incorporated during the year 1998 by amalgamation of the activities of erstwhile Orissa Fish Seed Development Corporation Ltd.(OFISEED) and Orissa Maritime & Chilika Area Development Corporation Ltd.(OMCAD).

To carry out the benefits of providing quality fish seed to fish farmers of the state, providing net materials for fishermen (both in inland and marine sector) and providing HSD and MS to the costal fisherman for better post.
